Proposal NEMO entrance hall moves boundaries in design and technology

The design, a luminous eye-catcher for the entrance hall of NEMO in Amsterdam, refers to the building blocks of the world. The piece moves the boundaries of technology through the use of Tensigrity: all wires of the pentagons are interconnected, whereas not all bars are interconnected. Depending on our focus, we either see the bars ‘float’ or perceive the outer construction, the regular icosahedron.
